Angela has over 40 years experience in walking the walk in family business. As founding mother of her family business since 1978 Angela has worked closely with many of her family including mother, sisters, husband, daughter, son, son-in-law and daughter-in-law. Having worked with family, Angela developed both practical and academic learning of the sector representing family business to both government through the Small Business Ministerial Advisory Council and as a member of Swinburne & Deakin Universities’ Academic Advisory Councils for development of Family Business studies. Angela has a passion for family business dynamics and has been awarded a Chairman’s Award from Family Business Australia for services to the sector. Having successfully transitioned her family business to her Next Gen, Angela now coaches and mentors within family owned companies, and mentors start-ups and small businesses.

360⁰ Leadership Assessments

Forming part of our leadership assessment we utilise a specific tool which is the Global Executive Leadership Mirror (GELM®) The GELM® measures specific leadership behaviours and provides feedback across four main meta-levels: Self, Teams, Organisation and Networks. These four represent the 12 leadership behaviours of emotional intelligence, integrity, tenacity and courage, coaching and feedback, empowering, team building, ability to execute, change orientation, energising, visioning, client and stakeholder orientation, and networks and alliances.

Cultural Insights

We offer a tool to examine the culture at the organisational level which is the Organisational Cultural Audit (OCA™) The Organisational Cultural Audit (OCA™) surfaces the often-hidden cultural strengths and weaknesses of an organisation, allowing the formation of steps to facilitate transformation. The OCA™ covers the most 12 salient dimensions of organisational culture: competitiveness, social responsibility, client (stakeholder) orientation, change orientation, teamwork, fun, responsibility and accountability, trust, learning environment, result orientation, respect for the individual, and entrepreneurship and innovation
